I don’t think community based conciliation existed in the Maldives. The state and the religion has the authority, in particular when it comes to punishment. As Islam is a religion of punishments, the state been the God and the God been the state. An atoll chief and or the community will not have the authority of the supreme mini Gods to judge and punish people. Many local customs have been destroyed by the Mullahs as is the case happening now .
In a few years, Blue Jeans and T shirts will be history in Maldives. Blue jeans and T shirts brings death and evil sprit to our nation and destroy it says the Mullahs. Keep the Mullahs under control as they will not hesitate to burn those before your grand children sees it.

Islam is a religion. The clothes you wear is fine as long as it covers what its supposed to cover. Islam is in the heart of the believer. It is in the actions you perform.

'In a few years, Blue Jeans and T shirts will be history in Maldives.' what facts do you have to base this claim?
don't just take one fact and extort to the point it doesn't make any sense.

Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion.
